Teunis Garret Bergen (6 October 1806-24 April 1881) was a member of the US House of Representatives (D-NY 2) from 4 March 1865 to 3 March 1867, preceding Martin Kalbfleisch and preceding Demas Barnes.
Biography[]
Teunis Garret Bergen was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1806, the second cousin of John Teunis Bergen. He served as supervisor of New Utrecht, Kings County from 1836 to 1859 and then served in the US House of Representatives from 1865 to 1867 as a Democrat. He died in 1881.
