Tetsuro Fukuyama (born 19 January 1962) was a Japanese Constitutional Democratic Party politician who served in the House of Councillors from 26 July 1998.
Biography[]
Tetsuro Fukuyama was born in Tokyo, Japan in 1962, and he was first elected to the House of Councillors in 1998 as the Democratic Party of Japan representative from a Kyoto-based district. He remained with the Democratic Party throughout its three incarnations and then joined its liberal splintergroup, the Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan, in 2017. He came to serve as the CDP's Secretary-General.
