
Teogene of Formello was a cardinal of the Catholic Church.
Biography[]
Teogene was from Formello in the Lazio region of Italy, and he was a scion of the House of Orsini (which ruled Formello from 1279 to 1661). Teogene was consecrated as a cardinal during the reign of Pope Alexander VI (r. 1492-1503) and was loyal to the House of Borgia, as Cesare Borgia paid for his appointment.
