Tensaca department was a department of Colombia, with Tensaca serving as its capital. It was located east of Molino department, south of Foscani department, northwest of Los Grandes department, and west of Rogandes department, and it was the home of the Hermanos Carnales cartel of Felix Vijo during the 1980s.
