Tensaca is a city in Colombia and the capital of Tensaca department. It was the home of the Hermanos Carnales cartel of the 1980s and 1990s, with Felix Vijo expanding his cartel from the Tensaca department into the neighboring regions after building several marijuana farms, drug labs, and warehouses and using Tensaca's aerodrome to export his drugs outside of Colombia.
