The Ten Bells is a pub located on the corner of Commercial and Fournier Streets in Spitalfields, East End London, England. It was founded in the mid-18th century, founded as the "Eight Bells Alehouse" in 1755. In 1788, the establishment of a new set of chimes at the nearby church led to the pub's renaming to "Ten Bells". It became famous for its association with Annie Chapman and Mary Kelly, two prostitutes who were murdered during Jack the Ripper's murder spree in 1887.
