Temur Qutlugh (1370-1399) was Khan of the Golden Horde from 1397 to 1399, succeeding Quyurchuq and preceding Shadi Beg. A son of Timur Beg, he overthrew the Timurid vassal Quyurchuq in 1397 with help from his uncle Edigu. However, he faced conflict from the rival claimant Tokhtamysh, who captured Edigu's castle at Sarai in 1398. Temur Qutlugh also faced an invasion by Lithuanian Grand Prince Vytautas and Tokhtamysh, but he defeated them at the Battle of the Vorskla River in 1399. Temur Qutlugh died of drunkenness while celebrating his victory.
