Temple of Sobek

The Temple of Sobek was a large Kemetic pagan temple located in Krokodilopolis, Faiyum, Ptolemaic Egypt, dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek. The temple was home to tame crocodiles who were fed by the priest, and chief among them by 48 BC was Petsuchos, the embodiment of the god.
