Ted Forrestal (1940-1985) was an American Delta Force operative who served under Colonel John Matrix in his unit. One of the unit's major accomplishments was the deposing of the Val Verdian dictator Alejandro Arius. After liberating Val Verde, the team disbanded and were given new names and identities to protect them from the many enemies they made during their service.
Forrestal became a car salesman in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles and in 1985, met Jim Cooke and attempted to sell him a Cadillac DeVille. Cooke, however, was sent to assassinate Forrestal for his actions in Val Verde, and proceeded to run him through the glass facade of the dealership with the vehicle, driving off into the city streets. Forrestal was killed from a combination of blunt force and laceration from the glass.
