Tawfik of Akka

Tawfik of Akka was the Palestinian Muslim Governor of Acre under the Kingdom of Jerusalem. He enjoyed the confidence of Reynald de Chatillon's wife Stephanie of Milly, but he was distrusted by Reynald due to his double-dealings as a nominal vassal of Jerusalem, but also as an apparent friend of the Ayyubid sultan Saladin.
