Tarhunna

Tarhunna was the Hittite storm god, the husband of Arinna, brother of Shuwaliyat and Aranzah, and the father of Telipinu, Kammamma, Mezulla, Inara, Zippalanda, and Nerik. He was responsible for the various manifestations of the weather, including thunder, lightning, rain, clouds, and storms, as well as ruling over both the heavens and the mountains and deciding whether there would be fertile fields and good harvests or drought and famine. He was treated by the Hittites as ruler of the gods, and he legitimized the position of the Hittite king.
