Tamara Vidal (1980 - 19 February 2021) was an Argentine-American woman of German descent who served as a surveillance expert, political entrepreneur, and Providence Herald throughout her life. While attending Don Archibald Yates' farewell party in Mendoza, Argentina, Vidal was crushed to death by a grape presser activated by former ICA agent 47.

Biography[]

Early life[]

Tamara Vidal was born in 1980 in Buenos Aires, Argentina to German-Argentine parents, her father being the son of a Nazi Party member who fled Nazi Germany in 1945. She grew up in an upper middle-class family, where her parents both worked in the Secretariat of Intelligence and participated in the Dirty War on the side of the juntas. Vidal was raised to believe in a meritocratic worldview, the rule of competence being her mantra; those born with superior skills and intellect should lead, and those who do not follow will only lead the world to chaos.

CIA career[]

Vidal moved to the United States to study geopolitics, eventually enrolling at the CIA training school Sherman Kent School for Intelligence Analysis where her instructors believed her to be one of the most talented surveillance specialists they've ever seen. She earned a US citizenship and was inducted into the CIA SAD operations, conducting several top secret operations throughout the 2000s.

In 2012, however, a Langley whistleblower leaked a large amount of data about the CIA's covert operations; Vidal's name was included here, having been the leader of a CIA black site on an abandoned Hamsun Oil rig, testing new types of chemical interrogation tactics on political prisoners and accused terrorists. This was forbidden by the Geneva Convention, and Vidal disappeared.

Political career[]

In 2014, Vidal resurfaced as the leader of a crypto-fascist political party known as the Future Federation, which promoted meritocratic corporatocracy and transhumanism. The Future Federation gained millions of followers, astonishing South America and the rest of the world.

Vidal was eyed as a new Herald by Providence Constant Arthur Edwards, who promptly recruited her to serve as one, ferrying orders from the Partners to Providence operatives across the globe. The Future Federation soon crumbled without Vidal's leadership, collapsing in on itself.

Providence[]

Vidal quickly became the favorite Herald of Edwards, being assigned to South America and quickly becoming a key player in political victories and defeats across the continent. She was responsible for fueling the drug war between the Providence-backed Moreno Cartel and the Delgado Cartel in Colombia, as well as backing promising politicians tom rise to new seats of power and diverting attention from Providence by causing civil conflicts.

After the Partners were assassinated by former ICA agent 47 in early 2021 and Edwards' ascent to the leadership role, Vidal believed that she was eyed to be the next Constant, only for the honor to go to top American lawyer and Providence operative Don Archibald Yates. Regardless of her negative feelings toward Yates, she accompanied new Herald recruit, former ICA handler Diana Burnwood, to Yates' vineyard in Mendoza, Argentina to celebrate at his retirement party. Secretly, Vidal was asked to spy on Burnwood during the party to ascertain her true motives.

Death[]

At the party on 19 February 2021, Vidal and Burnwood were accompanied by Yates' fixer Corvo Black. Black was ambushed by 47 and knocked out, with his outfit stolen by 47. He then accompanied Vidal and Burnwood during a tour of the vineyards by Yates' chief winemaker Gabriel Vargas. When they entered the main wine manufacturing facility, 47 as Black asked if they could have Vargas take a picture inside the grape presser. Burnwood then asked to check the picture after it was taken, and 47 went to the grape presser controls. As Vidal was left alone under the presser, he pressed the button and Vidal was turned into gory mush by the sheer hydraulic force. Burnwood "excused" Vidal, as Vargas was unaware that she just died, explaining that she had to check on something work-related.

Legacy[]

After the string of killings at Yates' party, Vidal's blood was accidentally infused into wine and sold. This was quickly discovered, and Viñedo Yates was quickly shuttered by Argentine authorities and Interpol.
