Talatem of Abyssinia (698-762) was the king of Abyssinia from 741 to 762, succeeding Letem of Abyssinia and preceding Ayzur of Abyssinia.
Biography[]
Talatem of Abyssinia was born in 698, the son of King Letem of Abyssinia. He was a Miaphysite Christian of the Solomonic dynasty of Abyssinia, and he reigned as king of Ethiopia from 741 to 762. When he died in 762 at the age of 64, he was succeeded by Ayzur of Abyssinia.
