Takashima-kai

The Takashima-kai was a Japanese yakuza criminal organization and a subsidiary of the Omi Alliance. The family was created in 2005 after Yukio Terada's defection to the Tojo-kai, upon which Terada's sworn brother Ryo Takashima was named Chief of Omi HQ and granted his own family. The Takashima-kai engaged in arms trafficking from mainland Asia, becoming the biggest high-caliber weapons traffickers in Kansai and selling the smuggled guns to trusted allies. During the 2006 Tojo-Omi war, the Takashima-gumi played no direct role in the conflict, as Takashima preferred to work behind the scenes; instead, the Goryu-kai and Sengoku-gumi served as the muscle for Omi's war with the Tojo-kai. Following Takashima's death, the Takashima-kai was disbanded and its members incorporated into other families.
