Takaoka Tsunekage (1842-July 1867) was a general of the pro-Imperial Tottori Domain during the Boshin War. He served as his lord Ijuin Yukimichi's deputy commander, co-leading the Tottori Domain's main army in Tamba Province. By the spring of 1867, however, he defected to the pro-Shogunate Nagaoka Domain and commanded their army in Mino Province, fighting against his former clan. In April 1867, he captured Inokuchi from Tottori, capturing Mino Province for the Tokugawa Shogunate's vanguard. However, he was killed at the Battle of Lake Biwa in July.
