The Tabacal observation post raid occurred in 2019 when a team of American special forces operatives infiltrated a Bolivian Army base in Tabacal department and acquired intelligence on the Santa Blanca Cartel.
Major Anthony Perryman and his Ghost Recon squad infiltrated the base at night, engaging in open warfare with the La Unidad garrison. The Americans overwhelmed the soldiers before Perryman photographed a wall chart revealing the name of Santa Blanca Cartel lieutenant Raul Salazar, Madre Coca's right-hand man, whom they proceeded to target next.
