The Tabacal Base raid occurred in 2019 when an American special forces team, Ghost Recon, raided the Santa Blanca Cartel's Tabacal Base and destroyed their stock of coca leaves.
As part of their mission to destroy Madre Coca's coca production network in Tabacal, Major Anthony Perryman and his Ghost Recon team raided Tabacal Base, an old freight yard where the coca from Tabacal and Monte Puncu was stored before being shipped out of the province. The Americans engaged in an open shootout with the base's many guards, and they were later reinforced by Kataris 26 rebels. Perryman used grenades to destroy the base's three coca stockpiles; this, together with his liberation of Killasisa Farm and protection of union leader Puma Chavez's ani-cartel rally, caused Madre Coca's coca shipping to grind to a halt.
