Szymon Zurawski

Szymon Zurawski (1115-) was a priest of the Kingdom of Poland.

Biography[]

Zurawski was ordained as a priest in 1136, recruited in Riga (present-day Latvia) on the demand of Pope Innocent II. Trained for the specific purpose of converting the Livonians to Christianity, he was considered to have a divine connection and was an effective priest.
