Symond Dobes

Symond Dobes (born 1244) was an English nobleman who fought in the Second Barons' War.

Biography[]

Symond Dobes was a nobleman of the Kingdom of England, and he was a mediocre commander. He had little chivalry and poor management, but made up for this with high loyalty towards his king, Henry III of England. Symond Dobes was a commander of the English king's army during the Third Barons' War of 1269, laying siege to rebel baron Thomas Terrett in Chester in 1274 and taking the city.
