Sylvester "Sally Daz" Zottola (April 17, 1947-4 October 2018) was a Bonanno crime family associate who was murdered by the Albanian Mob in 2018.
Biography[]
Sylvester Zottola was born in The Bronx, New York City in 1947, and he later became an associate of the Bonanno crime family. He became known as "Sally Daz" and ran an illegal gambling racket centered around Joker Poker video games, and he became rivals with the Albanian Mob when they wanted to muscle in on the racket. In July 2018, his son Salvatore was wounded in a drive-by shooting by assailants sent by the Albanians to lure Sylvester out. On 4 October 2018, as Sylvester waited in his car for a cup of coffee from a McDonald's drive-thru in The Bronx, his car was boxed in and he was shot dead by several hitmen, including Bushawn Shelton and Herman Blanco.
