
Sydir Holubovych (1873-1938) was Chairman of the State Secretariat (Prime Minister) of the West Ukrainian People's Republic from 4 January to 9 June 1919, succeeding Kost Levytsky.
Biography[]
Sydir Holubovych was born in Husiatyn, Eastern Galicia, Austria-Hungary in 1873, and he cofounded the Ukrainian National Democratic Alliance before serving in the Reichsrat from 1911 to 1918 and in the Diet of Galicia in 1913. After World War I, he served as the second head of government of the West Ukrainian People's Republic in 1919, and he died in Lwow, Poland in 1938.
