The Susan Constant was a merchant ship of the English Virginia Company which was in service from 1607 to 1615. The Susan Constant was the largest of the Company's three ships that partook in the 1606-1607 expedition to the New World, during which the Susan Constant was captained by Christopher Newport. The ship carried 71 male colonists, including John Smith, to Virginia before Newport returned to London, and the ship did not return to Virginia again, serving as a merchant ship through 1615.
