Supyan Abdullayev (8 November 1956-28 March 2011) was the Vice President of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria from 2007 to 2011.
Biography[]
Supyan Abdullayev was born in the Kazakh SSR of the Soviet Union in 1956 and in the late 1980s founded the Islamic Renaissance Party. During the First Chechen War he fought Russia as a Colonel for the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria, and led the resistance to Russia after they occupied Chechnya in the Second Chechen War in the 2000s.

Russian soldiers stormed a rebel camp in Ingushetia in search of Dokka Umarov, launching airstrikes before attempting a ground attack. Abdullayev was killed in the shootout with the FSB, while Umarov survived.
