Sukeomi shinobi

Sukeomi (1842-) was a Japanese shinobi in the service of the Choshu Domain during the late 19th century. He was recruited in Iwami Province in the winter of 1864, and he served as a scout for the domain, with his travels taking him into central Honshu to spy on the pro-Shogunate clans there. In March 1866, he assassinated the Nagoya Domain's geisha Sakiyori in Osaka; in July 1867, he also assassinated the Nagaoka Domain's general Sanada Tadato in Omi Province.
