Gregor and Otto Strasser
Strasserism was a more left-wing, worker-based strand of Nazism which was developed by the brothers Gregor and Otto Strasser during the early 20th century. They believed in mass action by workers to defeat capitalism, opposing what they saw as a Jewish monopoly over politics; Strasserists were not hostile towards their religion, ethnicity, culture, or "race", but instead due to their perceived representation of capitalism. Strasserism threatened Adolf Hitler's white supremacist strand of Nazism, so he had Otto Strasser expelled from the party in 1930, forcing him to flee to Czechoslovakia; Gregor Strasser was killed during the Night of the Long Knives. The Greek "Black Lily" movement was Strasserist, and it sent mercenaries to help the Syrian regime during the Syrian Civil War.
