Stewart D. Mulford (2 June 1801 – 3 October 1865) was the Mayor of San Antonio, Texas in 1836. Born in Savannah, Georgia, Mulford moved to the Republic of Texas with his family in 1835, seeking economic opportunity. Mulford became a member of the Democratic Party after the annexation of Texas by the United States, and he supported classical liberal values such as the right to own slaves.
