Stepan Volchkov (1224-) was a Novgorodian nobleman during the 13th century. He was born to a family of noble birth and was a confident defender, brave, a skilled bureaucrat, a promising commander, generally loyal, and a fair fighter. In 1252, he was adopted by Grand Duke Alexander Nevski.
