Stefan Treherne (1681-1722) was a British Royal Navy captain who commanded the frigate HMS Merlin in the Caribbean during the Golden Age of Piracy. In 1722, he was killed in battle with the pirate captain Edward Kenway at the Battle of Malcolm Bay.
