The State House is a building in St. George's, Bermuda that served as the seat of the House of Assembly from 1620 to 1815. The house initially met at St. Peter's Church before relocating to the purpose-built home, which was built along Italian lines due to similar climate. In 1815, the capital was moved to Hamilton, causing the building to be leased to the Freemasons.
