Staffordshire is a county in the West Midlands region of England, bordering Cheshire to the northwest, Derbyshire and Leicestershire to the east, Warwickshire to the southeast, West Midlands and Worcestershire to the south, and Shropshire to the west. Stoke-on-Trent is the largest city in Staffordshire, while Stafford is the county town; other major settlements include Stone, Uttoxeter, Rugeley, Eccleshall, Penkridge, Wombourne, Kinver, Tutbury, and Stretton. In 2016, Staffordshire had a population of 1,120,300 people.
