Spencer Mulreeny (1800-1851) was a Jamaican master carpenter and militiaman who lived in Kingston in the early 19th century. The son of militia officer Henry Mulreeny, he followed in his father's footsteps and doubled as a middle-class craftsman and as a part-time soldier. Mulreeny fought in the Baptist War of 1831-1832, suppressing a major slave uprising. Mulreeny was more inclined towards reformism than his traditionalist father and supported the center-left Whigs. He fathered seven children, including Hamilton Mulreeny.
