Guggenheim Museum

The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum is a modern art museum located at 1071 Fifth Avenue on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, New York City. The museum was founded by the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation in 1939 as the Museum of Non-Objective Painting, and it was renamed after Guggenheim in 1952, three years after its namesake's death. By 2023, the museum had 861,000 visitors who came to visit its permanent collection of Impressionist, Post-Impressionist, early Modern and contemporary art, and special exhibitions.
