Soetsu Furuta (born 1958) was a Japanese Tojo-kai yakuza gangster who lived in Kabukicho, Tokyo during the 2000s. On 6 December 2005, he was sent to patrol the streets of Kabukicho and search for the rogue former yakuza Kazuma Kiryu, and Furuta - who was unwilling to be sent to the hospital in a fight with the notoriously powerful Kiryu - instead warned Kiryu that he would get himself killed if he wandered around in public too often.
