Social Action (AS) was a national conservative party in Italy that was active from 2003 to 2009. The party was founded by Alessandra Mussolini after she left the National Alliance due to Gianfranco Fini apologizing to Israel for Italy's participation in the Axis Powers during World War II. Mussolini formed a far-right coalition ahead of the 2006 general election, but her party almost dissolved in 2007 after many of its members returned to the National Alliance. In 2009, the party merged into The People of Freedom.
