Skip Lipari (born 17 January 1968) was an FBI agent who handled informant Salvatore Bonpensiero from 1998 to 2000.

Biography[]

Skip Lipari was born to a family of Italian descent, the son of a plumber. He later became an FBI agent, and he was sent to handle informant Salvatore Bonpensiero, a high-ranking and trusted soldier in the DiMeo crime family, in 1998. Bonpensiero would come to confide in Lipari as a friend, but Lipari constantly reminded him that he was not his friend, but that Bonpensiero was working for the government. Lipari was later warned that he was himself getting too close to Bonpensiero, and he covered up his involvement in the murder of Matthew Bevilacqua.
