Site Hotel Bravo was a Shadow Company base located in the mountains of Afghanistan. Formerly a Taliban cave complex and a mine before that, it was cleared out by Shadow Company in 2015 under the orders of Lieutenant General Herschel Shepherd and used as an FOB for Shepherd and the Shadows, as well as Task Force 141 on occasion. In August 2016, in the aftermath of Operation Rochester and the betrayal of 141 in order to cover-up Shepherd's dealings with Vladimir Makarov, Shepherd had the basing 141 operatives killed and continued using Site Hotel Bravo to coordinate his war against Makarov.
On 16 August, Site Hotel Bravo was attacked by Captains John Price and John "Soap" MacTavish in an effort to kill Shepherd for his betrayal. The interior of the base was rigged with C4, forcing Price and Soap to evacuate into the exterior. Shortly afterward, Shepherd ordered artillery battery Excalibur to fire upon 141's position; this, however, only resulted in the deaths of dozens of Shadow Company PMCs. After Shepherd was killed after a lengthy boat chase and fistfight, Site Hotel Bravo's ruins were investigated by US forces in the area and abandoned to the elements after surviving equipment was reclaimed.
