Sint Maarten is an island country in the Caribbean and a constituent country of the Netherlands, with Philipsburg serving as its capital. The country is located on the southern half of the island of Saint Martin, the northern half of which is a part of France. On 10 October 2010, the party became its own constituent country after the dissolution of the Netherlands Antilles, and the country had a population of 33,609 people in 2011.
