Sin-shumu-lishir bit Warda

Sin-shumu-lishir bit Warda (358-333 BC) was a Syrian archer in the service of Achaemenid Persia during the 4th century BC. He served in Shahanshah Darius III's massive, multinational army during his campaign against Alexander the Great in Anatolia, and he was slain at the bloody Battle of Issus in 333 BC.
