Silveria Russo (1950-) was a Prima Linea militant during the "Years of Lead".
Biography[]
Silveria Russo was born in Turin, Piedmont, Italy in 1950, and she became a member of the communist student movements in high school. She took part in the Palazzo Campagna movement in 1968, in Lotta Continua actions during the early years of her university studies, and with feminist groups in the following period. From 1976 to 1977, she participated in Prima Linea's armed actions, and she became the life partner of Bruno La Ronga. For her actions, she was given two life sentences in prison.
