Silas Wood (14 September 1769-2 March 1847) was a member of the US House of Representatives (F-NY 1) from 4 March 1819 to 3 March 1829, succeeding Tredwell Scudder and preceding James Lent. Born in West Hills, Long Island, he practiced law in Huntington before serving in Congress.
