Silas Condit (18 August 1778-29 November 1861) was a member of the US House of Representatives (NR-NJ AL) from 4 March 1831 to 3 March 1833, succeeding Isaac Pierson and preceding Philemon Dickerson. Born in Orange, the son of John Condit, he worked as a merchant in Orange and Newark before serving as county clerk from 1804 to 1811, county sheriff from 1813 to 1816, in the state assembly in 1812, 1813, and 1816, in the state senate from 1819 to 1822, and in Congress.
