Signor Frisella

Signor Frisella (died 1947) was an Italian barber who lived in Montelepre, Sicily during the 1940s. He cut the hair of Mayor Guido Quintana and was also the barber of Salvatore Giuliano's father for 20 years. In 1943, he saved Giuliano through bloodletting after he was shot by the Carabinieri. He later helped Commander Oliviero Roccofino spy on Giuliano in exchange for financial assistance to his family, picking up gossip from Father Giuseppe Doldana. Former Italian Army corporal Canio Silvestro warned Giuliano about Frisella's betrayal, causing Giuliano to drag Frisella out of his barber shop and riddle him with bullets from a Grease gun, ignoring Frisella's pleas and attempts to remind Giuliano about their families' friendship.
