Sigfrith Halfdansson (843-888) was the son of Halfdan Whiteshirt of Jorvik.
Biography[]
Sigfrith Halfdansson was born in 843, and was the son of King Halfdan Whiteshirt of Jorvik by an unknown wife. He was their oldest son, and he became the heir to King Halfdan after he conquered Jorvik in northern England. His father arranged for him to marry Gydja Bjorg of Yuriev on 12 January 867, and the two of them wed. He died in 888.
