The Siege of al-Quds Hospital occurred in November 2023 when the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) besieged the al-Quds Hospital in Gaza during Operation Iron Swords.

As the IDF besieged Gaza City, the hub of Hamas' terrorist activities, the IDF besieged the Shifa and al-Quds hospitals, claiming that Hamas was using the basements of both hospitals as headquarters. On 8 November, al-Quds Hospital ran out of fuel and was forced to shut down most of its operations, and, by 10 November, Israeli tanks surrounded the al-Quds, Shifa, and other remaining hospitals in Gaza. These hospitals not only housed patients (on whom the doctors were forced to perform surgery without anesthetics), but also thousands of internally-displaced Gazans and handfuls of Hamas terrorists using the patients as human shields and hoping that Israeli retaliatory attacks on the hospitals would provoke selective international outrage against the Israelis rather than against their fighters. On 11 November, it was reported that Israeli snipers engaged Hamas fighters at the al-Quds Hospital as 14,000 refugees took shelter inside. On 12 November, having run out of power and fuel, the al-Quds Hospital announced that the hospital was out of service.

On 13 November, Hamas militants taking shelter in the al-Quds Hospital opened fire at troops of the Israeli 188th Armored Brigade with light arms and RPGs while being embedded within a group of civilians at the entrance of the hospital, forcing the IDF to return fire with air support, killing 21 militants. One tank was damaged by an RPG, but no Israeli soldiers were hurt. Civilians were seen leaving the hospital, while other operatives came out of adjacent buildings and hid among them to attack the Israeli forces. After firing RPGs at troops, some of the operatives fled back into the hospital.
