The Shoreditch Boys Club shootout, also known as the Shoreditch massacre, was a mass shooting which occurred at the Shoreditch Boys Club gym in Shoreditch, London in 2004. The shootout was between members of the Collins Crew and the Skobel Gang, and the shooting left several innocents and gangsters dead. The Metropolitan Police sent in the SO19 special forces unit, which killed dozens of British and Russian gangsters and discovered the carnage left behind by the Russians, who had killed boxing coach Danny West and several customers. Collins Crew leader Jimmer Collins escaped, but he professed his innocence to the police before fleeing. West's protege Eddie O'Connor later embarked on a quest of revenge against the Russians after discovering their role in the massacre.
