Shihi Iwasaki was a Japanese TMPD policeman who was stationed in Kabukicho, Tokyo during the 2000s. On the night of 6 December 2005, he halted Kazuma Kiryu as he walked with the little girl Haruka Sawamura and inquired as to the nature of their relationship; Iwasaki was unconvinced that Kiryu was the girl's father and threatened to bring Kiryu to the police station until Haruka claimed that Kiryu was her father, and that he was shy and was only being bullied by Iwasaki. After hearing Haruka testify to Kiryu being her father, Iwasaki let the two of them off, complimenting Haruka for being intelligent and warning Kiryu to get his act together.
