Shigemasa Toda (1557-21 October 1600) was a general of Nagahide Niwa. In 1585 he began service under Hideyoshi Hashiba after Nagahide's death, taking part in the invasion of Kyushu in 1587, the Fall of Odawara in 1590, and the Japanese invasions of Japan in 1592. Under the command of Yoshitsugu Otani, he fought in the Sekigahara Campaign for the Western Army and was betrayed by Hideaki Kobayakawa and Yasuharu Wakisaka and killed by Ieyasu Tokugawa while defending a fire pillar.
