The Shieldmaker's Yard was a medieval marketplace in Anglo-Saxon Winchester, Hampshire, England. The market was first built by the Romans, and, during the Dark Ages and Viking Age, the Anglo-Saxons continued to operate the marketplace among the Roman ruins.
