Sheikh Innokentios of Naxos (10 July 836-25 September 868) was a nobleman and Marshal of the Emirate of Crete. On 12 December 867, Emir Salim Iqritishi appointed Innokentios - a Greek Christian general in his service - to serve as governor of Naxos, hoping to ultimately convert him to Islam. However, on 18 September 868, he was arrested after it was discovered that he had been fabricating a claim on the emirate, and he was thrown in the oubliette (as executing Innokentios would lead to Salim's vassals hating him). He died in miserable conditions a week later, and Sheikh Lubb of Naxos inherited Naxos.
