
Sheikh Hezarhesp of Hormuz (748-) was a noble of the Abbasid Caliphate.
Biography[]
Hezarhesp was born to the House of Neisany, a dynasty of Zoroastrian Persians. He served as a vassal of Caliph al-Mansur of the Abbasid Caliphate, ruling Hormuz in Iran. Hezarhesp was married to Shaykhah Ruciwan of Hormuz. He was later asked to convert to Sunni Islam by Emir Hisham of Amrubid Emirate on 20 August 769.
